Mark Lavender produced the film, FROZEN, co-financed by Zentropa, four U.K. Lottery-backed regional film funds and a tax fund he established. Award-laden Frozen was released in the U.K. in January 2006 with the support of the UK Film Council.
He has worked in television as series producer, producer and director for ITV, BBC and Channel Four. His award winning programmes have included drama shorts and drama documentaries.
Mark was selected for the European producer development scheme, EAVE and also chosen for Sources and The Film Business School.
He has a short slate of film projects in development and production. He is familiar with the UK tax and co-production regimes, and is keen to work with new and established talent to produce quality commercial films on an international scale.
Derek Smith
Director/Producer

Derek's career in films began when the Arts Council commissioned a feature documentary about his photography work in the early 1980's. Since then he has established a reputation for making visually bold and highly individual factual programmes. Derek has worked on many network series and earned a clutch of Royal Television Society and New York Film and TV awards as well as the first BP Arts Award.
David Carr

David recently joined RS Productions as a Development Assistant and Literary Scout after completing a degree in English Literature at Newcastle University. He specialised in film internationally, as well as focusing on children's cinema. He is working with a number of leading literary agents to find suitable properties for adaptation, and is interested in reading scripts or manuscripts which have a wide appeal and an original voice.
